Innovative Programming

Learn cutting-edge theory and practice.

Would you like to use Nonviolent Communication (NVC) to transform your client relationships? This workshop offers intensive support for those who want to bring NVC to their practice. This program offers three complementary and practically applicable approaches to NVC:

  • NVC as a theoretical framework for thinking about clients: Shifting from diagnosis and analysis to an exploration of needs
  • NVC as a methodology for working with clients: Empathic reflection of needs as a unique path to healing
  • NVC as a set of tools to pass on to clients: Recognizing opportunities for sharing NVC with clients

    Who Benefits?

Training that meets you where you are.

This training focuses on the needs of those who work with clients and patients in a therapeutic or coaching framework. If your work involves helping others create sustainable change, this training is for you. Physicians, therapists, social workers, coaches and others in the helping professions can all benefit from learning strategies to understand their clients more deeply and discuss the challenges their clients face in empowering language that creates therapeutic alliances.

The sessions are tailored to meet the needs of practitioners new to NVC and those already integrating NVC into their practices. In-depth explorations of the theoretical framework NVC offers is augmented by opportunities for coached practice.

    • I facilitate NVC workshops, coach NVC one-on-one and am an NVC-and-Focusing-oriented psychotherapist in private practice. I have worked with Roxy in person as a trainer, and on the phone for case consultations and other NVC and psychotherapy-related support. Every time, I am wowed and touched by her presence, her "hit the nail right on the head" reflections, and her meaningful and useful suggestions. I feel grateful and fulfilled every time we consult. I am so glad Roxy is available to me as a resource because I value the support and learning, especially since I am isolated as an NVC-oriented professional because of limited access to NVC peers.
